Indian Springs State Park was like every other state park we visited, there is the time to head over to the Park Office/ Gift Shop for a magnet, post card and an ornament for the travel tree. (That will be another post.)

I love state parks and national parks because the friendliest people choose to work there. Park staff and rangers love the outdoors and meeting people! At the park like in a few others we had been to, there was a park mascot, well a stray cat that had wandered in and found a home.

Irma liked to hang out in the gift shop/park office. She was at home amongst the visitors and sat on the counter to make sure you paid for the park memorabilia you picked up.

Despite all my photographic skills and effort, Irma was not for being the feline paparazzi subject of choice.

Georgia State Parks and kitty cats. You haven’t met one yet? Well this is Mr Walker, another celebrated adopted kitty on state park property.
